ELBA ISLAND – PORTOFERRAIO

I still remember Valentina and Andrea’s phone call when they asked me that they wanted to celebrate their wedding intimately and symbolically on the Island of Elba before the big wedding day scheduled in Milan the following month. Their Love immediately appeared to me strong and authentic, and eager to be lived intensely and with simplicity. All it took was a beautiful beach with a breathtaking view and a celebration on the occasion of which to make the Promises of Love, expressing a feeling of love with words that aren’t the classical “I love you” or “You are the Love of my Life”. For this reason, poems or texts by writers poets and singers are often used, which are able to tell the states of the heart. The Promises of Love, however, become even more emotional and engaging if enriched with self-written love dedications, often used even when making a marriage declaration or at the altar or in front of a registrar. This moment, also inspired by several famous films and VIP weddings, took on an important role in planning the wedding day. Andrea and Valentina chose one of the most beautiful beaches on the north coast of the Island of Elba: Capobianco Beach in Portoferraio, with its white pebbles and Caribbean seabed. They chose the time of sunset to “praise” their Love, accompanied only by the singing of a violin and the music of the sea and seagulls. The emotions didn’t end here, but in a place of great beauty from which you can enjoy a unique and spectacular view: Forte Falcone, an important fortification built in 1548 at the behest of Cosimo I de’ Medici. Along one of its ramparts is a point reminiscent of the bow of the Titanic where many couples embrace and symbolically embrace the horizon that represents their life together. The Promises of Love, however, become even more exciting and engaging if enriched with dedications of Love written.
