Elba, the largest of seven islands of Tuscany, is the “Place of the Hearth” for many couples who decide to get married because its landscapes are unique and capable of giving different scents and colors in every season o the year. Milena and Vlad, a young couple from the Island of Elba, chose to celebrate their wedding in a land known as Podere I Sassi overlooking the Gulf of Portoferraio, and the Ristoro Montefabbrello, a Farmhouse that “smells” of land, olive trees and vineyards. Dimitri, the owner and manager, masterfully took care of the catering: the aperitif based on delicacies with Km0 products was organized in Podere I Sassi at the end of the civil ceremony, while the wedding dinner was held at the Ristoro among lights, candles and wildflowers. The bride and groom, under my direction as wedding planner, chose a romantic setting with simple flowers whose palette ranged from shades of ash blue and soft pink to those of light purple, all embellished with white feathers. A unique experience for the bride, groom and their guests that they will always remember as a Dream Wedding.
