A Dream with an Oriental Perfum
Ariele and Ayana are not two newlyweds. They are brother and sister. They decided to get married, Ariele with Lisa, Swedish, and Ayana with Samuele, from Florence, on Elba where they grew up beginning from the tender ages of six and three, when they moved to the Island with their family from the Veneto region. The unique lifestyle that weds the West and the East is striking to anyone about their parents Gian Antonio and Letizia. Their continuous travels in India have enriched them with a spirituality that is based on Vedic philosophy and that has materialized with the International Ayurveda Academy, based in Florence, whose purpose is to spread Ayurveda understood as Vedic science of health, philosophy, medicine and lifestyle, the path of individual and collective growth for a life of happiness and health. A journey that reflected on the thought and the lifestyles of Ariel and Ayana who developed a consciousness and awareness, which led them to be what they are today: a man and a woman, affirmed in their work and united in their manner so kind and seraphic that conquers all.
If we were to describe their “spiritual journey” to love, understood as marriage, we would express it as a “Dream with the perfume of the East, nestled among the green hills and rocked by the marine transparencies of Elba”. They got married less than a year apart from each other in the Church of Santo Stefano alle Trane, not far from their house “absorbed” in silence and vegetation, and in an enveloping aura. Together with their life partners, they both wanted religious rites, because they consider the blessing of Jesus a superior energy, and the most mystical of experiences. Everywhere on Elba, they feel a female “presence” that they recognize as a divine mother, present in places such as the Madonna del Monte, the Madonna delle Grazie, the Sanctuary of the Madonna of Monserrato, Santa Lucia…
During the religious functions of both weddings, the Romanesque church of Santo Stefano alle Trane was pervaded by a mysticism that, with songs and prayers, enveloped the entire community, making it feel part of a whole. Emotions that continued to vibrate in the rest of the celebrations, which took place in two suggestive but different places: Ayana and Samuele were “pampered” by the olive trees and vineyards kissed by the sea that frame Hotel Fabricia. Ariele and Lisa, after an excursion to the summit of Mout Capanne, celebrated in total freedom in the park of Hotel Desirée where everything smelled of pines and the sea. On the one hand, a lawn set up like the rooms of an ancient Tuscan abode with a few ethnic references, where a rich vegan buffet delighted all the guests; on the other, a reception where everyone was free to do as they pleased, besides indulging in a tasty and colorful vegetarian aperitif. Two weddings kissed by the “Sun God” where the order of the day was to live in total harmony and in symbiosis with the environment and nature, be it green hills or marine transparencies.
