The organization of the wedding of Riccardo and Roberto, a same-sex wedding, marked my first LGBT experience on Elba Island. Every moment of their event was exciting, starting with a beautiful sunny day with no wind, which allowed Riccardo to arrive aboard a stylish motorboat. Theirs was a great party, a special occasion to share emotions and joy with family and friends. The country chic set-up, meticulously curated down to the smallest detail, turned Podere “I Sassi”—whose beauty is unique thanks to the towering maritime pines overlooking the sea on one side and rows of vineyards on the other—into an exclusive location straight out of a fairytale. The catering was curated by the Ristoro Montefabbrello, whose cuisine favors locally sourced products, in line with a green or eco-sustainable wedding. What can I say?!!!
