ISLAND OF ELBA – VILLA OTTONE

Exclusive Wedding

The wedding of Federica and Francesco was an event straight out of a storybook. The setting for their Love was Elba Island, where Federica was born and grew up; Francesco, instead, moved there from Campania for work when he was around 20 years old. Their wedding was celebrated with a religious ceremony in the Church of San Giuseppe in Portoferraio, beautifully decorated with autumnal floral arrangements and olive plants. Autumn was the leitmotif of the wedding: in addition to being reflected in the burgundy, pink, and orange tones of the flowers, it also inspired the Tableau de Mariage, featuring paintings inspired by this season of the year. Love played the leading role in their wedding, while Art and Beauty served as the perfect backdrop. It was no coincidence that the wedding reception was held at Villa Ottone, an ancient historic residence that belonged to the Marquise Toscanelli in the late 19th century, overlooking Portoferraio, which at night turns into a masterpiece of lights reflected on the sea. Getting married on Elba Island, the largest of the islands of Tuscany, means fulfilling a Love Dream while admiring true masterpieces of Nature. From lush vegetation that changes depending on the area, to the blues of the sea and sky that merge together to create breathtaking scenery. In addition to musical entertainment, the event also featured spectacular performances: stilt walkers, acrobats, dancers, jugglers, and more. The Cutting of the Wedding Cake was accompanied by fireworks to the notes of She from the film Notting Hill. If you would like to find out more see more on this link.
