The first civil wedding held on Biodola Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches on Elba, featured a Tuscan couple who had decided to elope. It was a veritable lovers’ getaway, an intimate, romantic, and “spiritual” wedding attended only by the bride, groom, and the locals they had chosen as their witnesses. Silvia and Francesco tied the knot in 2020, the year of the Covid pandemic. Silvia, in a beautiful, long, bronze-colored dress, and Francesco, in a blue jacket and ivory trousers, declared their eternal love and said “I do” against a spectacular backdrop: the sun setting over Capraia, one of the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago. The happy couple described their wedding as “a fairytale come true.” After the civil ceremony and photo shoot, they dined by candlelight in the restaurant of the Baia Bianca Suites, gazing at the lights of the boats anchored in Biodola Bay that shimmered on the sea.
